Pallid Roaches (Phoetalia pallida)
They are a highly nutritious feeder insect prized by reptile keepers, amphibian enthusiasts, and invertebrate breeders. Known for their soft bodies and active movement, these roaches are especially attractive to picky eaters and young insectivorous animals. Their high protein content and favorable calcium-to-phosphorus ratio make them an excellent addition to a varied feeding regimen.
Unlike many larger roach species, Pallid roaches remain relatively small and reproduce quickly under warm conditions, making them an efficient and productive feeder colony. They are easy to maintain, produce minimal odor, and thrive on a diet of fresh fruits, vegetables, and quality dry feeds. Their fast-moving nature encourages natural hunting behaviors, providing both nutritional and enrichment benefits for captive animals.
Pallid roaches are suitable for a wide range of reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, and other insect-eating pets.
