Giant Banana Roach (Panchlora sp. ‘Giant’)

The Giant Banana Roach (Panchlora sp. ‘Giant’) is a vibrant and eye-catching species, known for its bright green coloration and larger size compared to standard Panchlora. Its leaf-like appearance and smooth, glossy body make it a standout choice for naturalistic and tropical display enclosures.

Originating from Central and South America, this species thrives in warm, humid environments with good ventilation. A setup with deep substrate, leaf litter, and plenty of hiding spaces will encourage natural burrowing behaviour, particularly in nymphs, which spend much of their time beneath the surface.

Adults are active and capable of flight, adding movement and energy to any enclosure, while their striking green colour provides a beautiful contrast against natural décor. Despite their exotic appearance, Giant Banana Roaches are relatively easy to care for and adapt well to captive conditions.
